I’m really not sure how we got to October, but now that we’re here, I am taking full advantage of the cool weather and Ben & Jerry’s pumpkin cheesecake. Oh, and a fall themed bullet journal theme.
I’ve always wanted to do this theme, but I was admittedly daunted by all the doodling involved. Now that I have a little extra time with online school, I decided to take it on. I can’t say I like it as much as last month, but it’s still a vibe, so let’s get into it.
This pumpkin is a tad too large and that is definitely not the best cat I’ve ever drawn, but it’s definitely festive. I did appreciate the blending I accomplished with my Crayola supertips, but other than that, I don’t have much to say about this.
This monthly spread definitely turned out cute, despite the fact that I forgot there are only seven days in a week for a second. I kind of fixed it, but I do wish I had whited out the lines first, because the page I glued on isn’t entirely opaque. This is one of the simpler spreads of the month, and it was a nice way to break up the other doodle-heavy pages.
I decided to combine my playlist spread, habit trackers, and mood tracker for the month, and these are definitely my favorite pages. I wanted to try the combined habit trackers instead of having to write out each calendar, and I would definitely recommend. It saves plenty of space, and minimized the hand cramps. ( :
Okay, so I’ve never done a brain dump spread before, but I absolutely love how this leaf border looks, and it’s definitely going to be useful. Although I write in a separate journal, I think this is going to actually force me to just puzzle out everything going on in my head. Considering it’s midterm season and the month before the most important election of my lifetime, there’s definitely a lot to write out.
Last but not least, my weekly spread! I’m sorry for starting to plan before I took the photo, but at least this is proof that I actually use my bujo daily. ( : I don’t typically do this open kind of theme without dividing the days, but I like how this left some room for doodles. I’m not sure if next week is going to look like this, but I think it’s definitely a good spread for the busy week I’ve been having. (Also, shoutout to my fountain pen which I started using a couple weeks ago. It’s absolutely amazing and I have no idea why I’ve been using ballpoint pens for my entire life.)
That’s all for this month’s spread, so thanks for reading! Please share this post if you liked my spreads! I hope you have a productive and all around amazing October!
